Picked up a Go-Pro HD recently and have tried it out kitesurfing the past few weeks. Still playing with angles and settings but here's some of the footage. All taken at Philorth near Fraserburgh over the course of three days.
I love that vid George - very nice riding; its refreshing to see some footage in UK conditions, rather than the perfect waves off some far flung shore :)
I think thats some really useful footage showing how you actually ride in UK conditions - something which seems to be totally missing from all instuctional dvd's etc. I'd really like to see more of this, as it would be really good to help me personally, and i'm sure others could benefit too.
I've tried downloading the vid from vimeo, but it wont play back on my pc :( Did you create it on a mac?
Cheers Pete. As much as I would like it to have been perfect waves and boardshorts you've got to work with what you have!! Waves were really good fun and a bit steeper than the Go-Pro can show. I'm afraid it was created on the Mac using Final Cut Express
Nice vid George.
ReplyDeleteIve got the new burning 6'2 on order, should be here in the next two weeks. looking forward to get into some wave riding.
