A cold day at 'the Chem works'

Well today there was a few of us decided to go to 'the chem works' for a session. We where greeted with 30 knt winds gusting to 44 and a minus degree windchill. Me and andrew decided to give it a miss and stay on the beach to take pics and video. Pete went out on his 7m furia LTD and had a great time ripping it up on his lux and burning.  I'm sure pete will do a write up to let everyone know how the kite preformed in, what I thought where overpowered conditions, but the kite seemed to cope very well.

  2. Yeh its a great spot. It is near the river mouth so you get some protection from the big swells but still get soem nice waves. There is also a big lagoon that fills up on a good high tide.

The downsides..........Well, theres a nuclear power station about 300 meters away from the beach...........
