Had a blast at Bamburgh!

Saturday was forecast to have some nice north westerlies up the coast so set off with a couple of local lads. It was raining as we got there, but this soon cleared and the wind was mid teens cross-shore with a 5ft messy swell, dumping on the low tide sand bar.
I took the Burning out with for most of the afternoon, as there was little point trying any freestyle in the conditions - was trying to do some popped jump transitions, but need a little more practice :)
As it was starting to get dark a really shallow lagoon formed, so grabbed the Lux and went for a blast on that and got the opportunity to do a bit of freestyle, even though the landings were a bit sketchy in a couple of inches of water! - decided to stick to what I know rather than pushing some new stuff.
I also tried to get some footage, but by then it was so dark the camera couldn't focus on anything fast moving in front of it, so called it a day after a really good session.
Was hoping for a repeat on Sunday, but it wasn't to be, no wind in sight!

Here's a pic. of me with my gear in front of the castle, and a very quick sketchy video (apologies for the quality!)
